Operational objectives Veicināt iedzīvotājus darboties apkārtējās vides sakārtošanai, saglabāšanai un novada teritorijas attīstībai;
veicināt sadarbības iespējas starp dažāda veida organizācijām;

veikt profilaktiskos un organizatoriskos pasākumus ugunsgrēku un nelaimes gadījumu novēršanai sabiedriskajās ēkās, ražotnēs un dzīvojamā sektorā;
veikt piebraucamo ceļu apsekošanu un sakārtošanu, piesaistot attiecīgas institūcijas;
organizēt apmācības un praktisko iemaņu pilnveidošanu brīvprātīgo ugunsdzēsēju komandā;
informēt un apmācīt iedzīvotājus ugunsdrošības un civilās aizsardzības jautājumos;
organizēt bērnu un jauniešu izglītošanu drošības jautājumos;
veicināt interešu izglītību un mūžizglītību;
organizēt un sniegt materiālu palīdzību ugunsgrēku un nelaimes gadījumu rezultātā cietušajiem cilvēkiem;
atbalsta sniegšana vecākiem cilvēkiem un cilvēkiem ar īpašām vajadzībām;
atbalsta sniegšana iedzīvotājiem pēc pieprasījuma (cilvēku resursi, tehnika, aprīkojums);
organizēt kultūras, aktīvās atpūtas pasākumus un veicināt ugunsdzēsības sporta attīstību.
