Kopt, saglabāt un popularizēt G.F.Stendera dzimtās mājas, viņa darbības liecības un piemiņas vietas;
veidot ekspozīcijas par sendienu darba un sadzīves rīkiem un to izmantošanu; vākt materiālus un atmiņas par eglainiešu dzīvi, darbu un notikumiem pagastā; nodrošināt savākto materiālu pieejamību tūristiem Sēlijas tūrisma apritē; nodrošināt materiālu uzskaiti, aprūpi un saglabāšanu; atbalstīt iedzīvotāju pašdarbības iniciatīvas kultūras mantojuma saglabāšanā; piesaistīt projektu, sponsoru līdzekļus un materiālus darbības nodrošināšanai, sadarbojoties ar Eglaines ev. lut. baznīcu un pagasta pārvaldi. |
