Operational objectives Veicināt bērnu un jauniešu patriotisko audzināšanu;
Veicināt dzimtās zemes iepazīšanu un izpēti;
Veicināt veselīgu dzīvesveidu, iesaistot bērnus un jauniešus tūrisma pasākumos;
Nodrošināt bērnu un jauniešu sporta tūrisma vadību Latvijā;
Izstrādāt un apstiprināt bērnu un jauniešu tūrisma sacensību noteikumus un citus ar sporta tūrismu saistītos materiālus;
Nodrošināt Latvijas Republikas jaunatnes sporta tūrisma čempionātu (meistarsacīkšu, kausu u.c sacensību sarīkošanu);
Veicināt tiesnešu, treneru, pulciņu vadītāju un citu pedagogu sagatavošanu un kvalifikācijas paaugstināšanu sporta tūrismā un novadpētniecībā;
Kā vienīgajai pārstāvēt Latvijas bērnu un jaunatnes tūrismu Latvijas Republikas vadošajā valsts sporta institūcijā, reģionālajās un citās organizācijas Latvijā un ārzemēs.
Piesaistīt ar savu darbību valsts, pašvaldību, citu biedrību un organizāciju atbalstu jaunatnes tūrisma problēmu risināšanai.
