1.Veicināt Latvijā pierakstītu (dokumentētu) tradīciju kopšanu, atjaunošanu, izpēti un sabiedrības izglītošanu un iesaisti to iedzīvināšanā, pielietošanā;
2.Ar starptautiskas sadarbības palīdzību labāk izprast vietējās/lokālās tradīcijas, to unikalitāti vai līdzību ar citām tradīcijām Eiropas kontekstā;
