| Operational objectives |
Apvienot medniekus medību organizēšanai un kopīgai atpūtai;
izveidot un uzturēt kārtībā medību saimniecību, audzētavas un mednieku bāzes; organizēt likumīgas un normatīvajiem aktiem atbilstošas medības; izkopt un pilnveidot medību tradīcijas un ētiku; iesaistīt savus biedrus medījamo dzīvnieku aizsardzībā, vairošanā un populācijas bagātināšanā; iespēju robežās novērst postījumus medību un mežsaimniecības platībās; organizēt mednieku kvalifikācijas celšanu, īpaši jauno mednieku apmācības ar medniecību saistītiem jautājumiem; sekmēt un attīstīt medību sporta veidus, organizēt biedrības izlases komandas sagatavošanu medību sporta veidos un to piedalīšanos sacensībās; pārstāvēt mednieku intereses, aizstāvēt viņu likumīgās prasības, intereses, iniciatīvu dažādās institūcijās, organizācijās un citur; organizēt medību trofeju uzskaiti, popularizēšanu un aizsardzību; palīdzēt valsts iestādēm apkarot nelikumīgo medniecību; piedalīties medību apsaimniekošanas plāna izstrādāšanā un īstenošanā; realizēt uzraudzību par Medību likuma un citu medības reglamentējošo normatīvo aktu ievērošanu; veicināt medību tūrisma attīstīšanu. |
