Veicināt mediju ilgtspējīgu attīstību un darbību Baltijas valstīs;
Stiprināt mediju neatkarību, mediju daudzveidību un sekmēt viedokļu dažādību medijos Latvijā;
Atbalstīt pētījumus par mediju nozari, veicināt diskusijas sabiedrībā par mediju ilgtspējas nodrošināšanu un par mediju nozares regulējumiem;
Veicināt Latvijas mediju sadarbību ar citu valstu medijiem un to organizācijām.
