| Operational objectives |
Biedrības mērķi medību jomā ir:
- apvienot medniekus medību organizēšanai un kopīgai atpūtai; - kopt un saglabāt medību tradīcijas; - nodrošināt racionālu un ilgtspējīgu medību fonda izmantošanu; - atbilstoši ilgtspējīgas izmantošanas principiem attīstīt medību saimniecību, saglabājot savvaļas dzīvnieku un to apdzīvojamās vides daudzveidību; - popularizēt medības kā Latvijā vēsturiski tradicionālu un videi draudzīgu atpūtas veidu; - saglabāt un attīstīt medību ētiku; - aizstāvēt un pārstāvēt savu biedru kopīgās intereses valsts, pašvaldības un sabiedriskajās institūcijās Latvijā un ārzemēs; - organizēt un veicināt mednieku apmācību; - veidot draudzīgas un pretimnākošas attiecības ar apmedījamo īpašumu īpašniekiem; - atbalstīt un veicināt videi draudzīgu atpūtu un tūrismu. Biedrības mērķi makšķerēšanas jomā ir: - makšķerēšanas kā aktīva un veselīga atpūtas veida popularizēšana; - jaunu makšķerēšanas veidu apgūšana; - saudzīgas attieksmes pret ūdeņiem un zivīm popularizēšana; - makšķernieku interešu un tiesību aizstāvēšana; - makšķerēšanas pasākumu organizēšana. |
