Apvienot fotogrāfus un fotogrāfēšanas interesentus, tādejādi popularizējot fotogrāfiju kā vizuālās mākslas sastāvdaļu;
Sekmēt mākslinieciski augstvērtīgu foto darbu radīšanu; Izstāžu darbības organizēšana un koordinēšana Latvijā un ārvalstīs; Radošo projektu īstenošana vizuālās mākslas jomā Latvijā un ārvalstīs; Latvijas fotomākslinieku darbu popularizēšana Latvijā un ārvalstīs; Starptautiskās sadarbības veicināšana ar citu valstu fotomākslas organizācijām; Fotoalbūmu, izstāžu katalogu un citu poligrāfijas izdevumu izdošana; Apmācību programmu izstrāde un īstenošana fotomākslas apguvei un fotomākslinieku profesionālā līmeņa paaugstināšanai; Piesaistīt jaunus biedrus Biedrības mērķu sasniegšanai; Piesaistīt finanšu resursus Biedrības mērķu īstenošanai; Sadarbības radošo un izglītojošo projektu izstrāde un īstenošana; Sabiedrības intereses veicināšana par fotogrāfiju; Veicināt bērnu un jauniešu iesaistīšanos sabiedriskajā dzīvē, organizējot neformālās izglītības apmācības un pasākumus; Veicināt mūžizglītības iespējas visu paaudžu interesentiem; Atbalstīt un veicināt sabiedrības, īpaši bērnu un jauniešu, cilvēku ar īpašām vajadzībām, kā arī gados vecāku cilvēku iekļaušanu dažādās kultūras aktivitātēs; Piedalīties tautas mākslas izstādēs, konkursos un festivālos. |
