Operational objectives

Apvienot medniekus medību organizēšanai un kopīgai atpūtai;
Izveidot un uzturēt kārtībā medību saimniecības, audzētavas, mednieku bāzes un nomātās medību platības ;
Realizēt uzraudzību par Medību likuma un citu ar medībām saistīto aktu ievērošanu savās platībās;
Sniegt palīdzību biedriem produkcijas pirmsapstrādē, realizācijā, ieroču un munīcijas un cita ekipējuma iegādē;
Iesaistīt biedrus dabas aizsardzības jautājumu aizsardzībā;
Iespēju robežās novērst postījumus medību un mežsaimniecības platībās;
Vienot medniekus organizētai rīcībai un pārstāvniecībai vietējo pašvaldību, valsts un starptautiskā līmenī;
Piedalīties medību nozari regulējošo normatīvo aktu un to izmaiņu projektu izstrādāšanā un apspriešanā valsts un nevalstiskajās institūcijās un organizācijās;
Aizstāvēt un pārstāvēt savu biedru intereses un tiesības valsts, pašvaldības un sabiedriskajās institūcijās Latvijā un ārzemēs;

Rīkot un piedalīties organizētajos mednieku pasākumos Latvijā;
Saņemt ziedojumus no Latvijas un ārvalstu organizācijām, privātpersonām;
Veicināt medību trofeju izstāžu organizēšanu;
Atbalstīt un veicināt medību šaušanas sporta attīstību;
Sniegt atbalstu vietējām pašvaldībām un valstij epizootiju apkarošanā;
Sadarboties ar vides aizsardzības, mednieku sabiedriskajām organizācijām un valsts institūcijām Latvijā un ārvalstīs;
Normatīvos aktos noteiktā kārtībā ņemt pārziņā un apsaimniekot mežus, veikt šo mežu saglabāšanas un aizsardzības pasākumus;
Veikt citas likumos atļautās darbības.
