Veidot mākslas notikumus, balstoties laikmetīgā estētikā un risinot politiski aktuālus jautājumus, tādējādi bagātinot Latvijas kultūras vidi un nodrošinot kultūras patērētājus ar nozīmīgu mākslas pieredzi;
darbību vērst uz vizuālās mākslas, skatuves mākslu un mūzikas jomām; starpdisciplinaritāte ir nozīmīgs darbības aspekts, veicinot žanru robežu un auditorijas grupu sapludināšanu un paplašināšanu, izpratnes palielināšanu par starpdisciplināru mākslas notikumu potenciālu, kā arī inovatīvu pienesumu Latvijas kultūras jomā; izvaicāt pastāvošo kultūrpolitiku un institucionālo sistēmu, veicināt sadarbību starp dažādām organizācijām, veicināt jaunu organizēšanās formu veidošanu; pievērsties pasaules laikmetīgās mākslas estētikas ideju pētniecībai, reflektēt par to Biedrības veidotajos notikumos, skaidrot un izplatīt tās plašākā sabiedrībā; attīstīt starptautisku sadarbību, iesaistīt ārvalstu viesmāksliniekus radošajā procesā, izmantot starptautiskas izglītības un mākslinieciskās attīstības iespējas, veidot starptautisku sadarbības partneru tīklu; pastāvēt kā nelielai, institucionāli neatkarīgai un brīvai kuratoru apvienībai. |
