Popularizēt šahu Latvijas sabiedrības vidū;
organizēt šaha apmācības, sacensības un citus pasākumus šaha spēles popularizēšanai; sagatavot augsta līmeņa šaha spēlētājus un atbalstīt to dalību turnīros; veikt šaha jomas interešu izglītības un profesionālās ievirzes sporta pedagogu profesionālās kompetences pilnveidi saskaņā ar 2018. gada 11. septembra Ministru kabineta noteikumiem Nr. 569 "Noteikumi par pedagogiem nepieciešamo izglītību un profesionālo kvalifikāciju un pedagogu profesionālās kompetences pilnveides kārtību"; veikt citu darbību, kas nav pretrunā ar Latvijas Republikas normatīvajiem aktiem. |
