| Operational objectives |
1. Kultūrvēsturiskā mantojuma (kultūras pieminekļu visu tipoloģijas grupu, nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma) un dabas vērtību (visu aizsargājamo kategoriju) apzināšana, saglabāšana, aizsardzība un to nozīmes popularizēšana;
2. Kultūras mantojuma kā demokrātijas vērtību nesēja izpratnes veicināšana saskaņā ar Faro konvenciju; 3. Kultūrvēsturisko un dabas vērtību publiskas pieejamības veicināšana sabiedriskajam labumam; 4. Sabiedrības interešu pārstāvniecība nacionālā un pašvaldību tiesiskā regulējuma izstrādes, darbības, uzraudzības un saistītajos administrēšanas procesos; 5. Sabiedrības izglītošana, pētniecības, muzeoloģijas (tai skaitā laikmetīgās), kultūras un izglītības projektu vadība; 6. Kultūrvēsturisko un dabas objektu labas pārvaldības un apsaimniekošanas atbalstīšana, konsultatīvās un sadarbības prakses veidošana; 7. Sabiedrības virzīta kultūrvēsturisko un dabas vērtību reģistra izveide un uzturēšana; 8. Kultūrvēstures un dabas vērtību aizstāvošo organizāciju un interesentu apvienošana; 9. Plašsaziņas līdzekļu, mediju un izdevēja darbība. |
