| Operational objectives |
1.Veicināt un veikt Latvijas 20. gadsimta vēstures izpēti, izmantojot primāros un sekundāros avotus, tai skaitā dokumentus, audio un video ierakstus, ēkas un tur atstātās vēstures pēdas, vēstures pēdas dabā, ekshumācijas, lieciniekus;
2. Attīstīt un izpildīt Latvijas 20. gadsimta vēstures novatoriskus prezentācijas veidus; 3. Izglītot Latvijas un starptautisko sabiedrību par Latvijas 20. gadsimta vēsturi; 4. Atklāt precīzāku informāciju par okupācijas perioda 1940.-1991. gada radītajiem zaudējumiem Latvijas valstij un tautai; 5. Atklāt precīzāku informāciju par līdzvainīgiem okupācijas perioda 1940.-1991. veiktiem cilvēktiesību pārkāpumiem; 6. Ar savu darbību atbalstīt Latvijas suverenitāti un demokrātisko iekārtu; 7. Darbības uzsvars ir uz periodu no 1939. līdz 1994. gadam, bet nav ierobežots uz šo periodu. |
