| Operational objectives |
1.Organizēt labdarības pasākumus, izglītojošas, sporta un atpūtas nometnes, sporta sacensības Latvijas un starptautiskā mērogā;
2.Attīstīt garīgo un fizisko spēju atjaunošanas un palielināšanas procesu it īpaši iesaistot trūcīgo un sociāli mazaizsargāto personu grupu un bērnus ar invaliditāti; 3.Attīstīt jaunatnes basketbolu, organizēt bērnu, skolēnu un jaunatnes un pedagogu izglītojošos, sporta un atpūtas pasākumus; 4.Izstrādāt basketbola treniņu procesa metodiskās rekomendācijas, izveidot augstas klases sportistu sagatavošanas sistēmu un veicināt tās izpildi; 5.Attīstīt un veicināt sadarbību ar pašvaldības un valsts institūcijām Latvijā, ārvalstīs, fiziskām un juridiskām personām, citu valstu basketbola klubiem un starptautiskām basketbola organizācijām, tādējādi popularizēt Rīgas un Latvijas vārdu ārpus valsts robežām; 6.Popularizēt un reklamēt basketbola inventāru un citus sporta piederumus; 7.Piesaistīt finansiālos, materiālos, intelektuālos un cita veida resursus realizējot projektus, kas saistās ar sporta atbalstīšanu, biedrības kapacitātes nodrošināšanu; 8.Stiprināt un popularizēt basketbolu kā aktīvu dzīvesveidu ar dažādām veselības veicināšanas un slimību profilakses teorētiskām un praktiskām iemaņām. |
