| Operational objectives |
Latvijas integratīvās un pretnovecošanas sistēmas pastāvīga pilnveidošana;
Izveidot un attīstīt LAAIMA profesionālās izglītības un kvalifikācijas pilnveides sistēmu; Attīstīt un integrēt ārstniecības praksē Latvijā tās mūsdienu medicīnas sastāvdaļas, kuras ietilpst starptautiski atzītā jēdzienā "integratīvā medicīna"; Aktualizēt un papildināt teorētiskās zināšanas (ārstiem, ārsta palīgiem, māsām, fizioterapeitiem un psihologiem) par pretnovecošanas un preventīvās medicīnas iespējām, profilaksi, diagnostiku un ārstniecības iespējām, tādējādi veicot sabiedrības izglītošanu un vairāku slimību attīstības samazināšanu iedzīvotājiem; Veicināt sadarbību starp Baltijas valstīm, Eiropas Savienības un citu valstu radniecīgām organizācijām, kā arī valsts institūcijām, organizējot lekcijas, kongresus un seminārus par preventīvās un pretnovecošanas medicīnas iespējām un sniegt informāciju par jaunākajiem datiem šajā jomā. |
