Veicināt bērnu, jauniešu un pieaugušo kultūras, fotomākslas, neformālo, interešu, profesionālo, formālo izglītību.
Īstenot vietēja un starptautiska mēroga pasākumus un projektus, lai veicinātu savstarpējo cieņu un kultūras dažādību.
Saglabāt sociāli-kulturālo mantojumu fotogrāfijas formātā.
Atbalstīt fotogrāfēšanas prasmju un fotomākslas, kā kultūras sastāvdaļas pilnveidošanu pasākumos un konkursos valsts un starptautiskajā līmenī.
