Veicināt burāšanas kā veselīga un videi draudzīga sporta un aktīvās atpūtas veida popularizēšanu un attīstību Latvijā.
Apvienot burātājus, jahtu īpašniekus un citus interesentus un pārstāvēt viņu intereses burāšanas jomā, neskatoties uz viņu vecumu, ādas krāsu, dzimumu, seksuālo orientāciju, valodu, reliģisko vai politisko pārliecību, nacionālo vai sociālo piederību. Īstenot apmācību un treniņu procesu burāšanā un ar to saistītus atbalsta un aktīvās atpūtas pasākumus, iesaistot tos, kas paredzēti bērniem un jauniešiem. Organizēt burāšanas sporta sacensības un citu sporta, aktīvās atpūtas un sabiedriskos pasākumus gan vietējā, gan starptautiskā mērogā. |
