Operational objectives

Biedrība darbojas pēc sabiedriska labuma organizācijas principiem un tās mērķi ir:
Medniecības jomā:
1) Apvienot medniekus, makšķerniekus un citus dabas draugus, lai veicinātu medību popularizēšanu;
2) Nodrošināt racionālu medību fonda izmantošanu;
3) Attīstīt medību saimniecību saskaņā ar savvaļas dzīvnieku un to apdzīvojamās vides daudzveidības saglabāšanu un ilgtspējīgas izmantošanas principiem;
4) Popularizēt medības kā Latvijā vēsturiski tradicionālu un videi draudzīgu atpūtas veidu;
5) Izkopt un attīstīt medību ētiku un tradīcijas;
6) Iegādāties un apsaimniekot biedrības īpašumu;
7) Aizstāvēt un pārstāvēt savu biedru kopīgās intereses valsts, pašvaldības un sabiedriskajās institūcijās Latvijā un ārzemēs;
8) Dibināt kontaktus un sadarboties ar mednieku sabiedriskajām organizācijām Latvijā un ārzemēs;
9) Saņemt ziedojumus no Latvijas un ārvalstu organizācijām un privātpersonām;
10) Veidot draudzīgas un pretimnākošas attiecības ar apmedījamo īpašumu īpašniekiem;
11) Videi draudzīga tūrisma, atpūtas un dabas resursu ilgtspējīgas izmantošanas atbalsts un veicināšana.
