Veicināt ugunsdrošību ražotnēs, sabiedriskajās ēkās un dzīvojamās ēkās;
Veicināt iedzīvotājus darboties apkārtējās vides sakārtošanai, saglabāšanai un novada teritorijas attīstībai; Veicināt sadarbības iespējas starp dažāda veida organizācijām; Sadarboties ar Valsts ugunsdzēsības un glābšanas dienestu (VUGD); Organizēt brīvprātīgo ugunsdzēsēju komandu darbību ugunsgrēka dzēšanas un glābšanas darbos; Veikt profilaktiskos un organizatoriskos pasākumus ugunsgrēka un nelaimes gadījumu novēršanai sabiedriskajās ēkās, ražotnēs un dzīvojamā sektorā; Organizēt apmācības un praktisko iemaņu pilnveidošanu brīvprātīgo ugunsdzēsēju komandām; Informēt un apmācīt iedzīvotājus ugunsdrošības un civilās aizsardzības jautājumus; Organizēt bērnu un jauniešu izglītošanu drošības jautājumos; Veicināt interešu izglītību un mūžizglītību; Organizēt un sniegt materiālu palīdzību ugunsgrēku un nelaimes gadījuma rezultātā cietušajiem cilvēkiem; Atbalsta sniegšana vecākiem cilvēkiem un cilvēkiem ar īpašām vajadzībām; Organizēt kultūras, aktīvās atpūtas pasākumus un ugunsdzēsības sporta attīstību. |
