Operational objectives

Veicināt iedzīvotāju, tostarp bērnu un jauniešu iesaistīšanos tādu sporta veidu nodarbībās, kam nepieciešama paaugstināta fiziskā aktivitāte;
Bērnu un skolēnu sporta pasākumu organizēšana;
Veicināt augstas klases sportistu sagatavošanu, atbalstīt dažādu sporta veidu komandas un individuālus sportistus;
Popularizēt fiziski aktīvas sporta nodarbības kā veselīgu un lietderīgu brīvā laika pavadīšanas veidu;
Popularizēt komandu sporta veidus un aktīvu dzīves veidu bērniem un pusaudžiem, sekmējot bērnu un jauniešu komunikācijas prasmes, pilnveidojot izpratni par nacionālo identitāti;
Atbalstīt un stimulēt un veidot lietderīgas un saturīgas brīva laika pavadīšanas iespējas, jauniešu un bērnu drošību, audzināšanas darbu un izglītošanu;
Attīstīt bērnu un jauniešu radošumu, rosinot viņus līdzdarboties dažādās valsts un starptautiskās aktivitātēs, lai viņi augtu un attīstītos par sabiedriski aktīviem pilsoņiem;
Organizēt sacensības, nometnes un citus pasākumus dažādos sporta veidos;
Uz brīvprātības pamatiem īstenot organizatorisko un saimniecisko darbību bērnu un jauniešu mācību, sporta un audzināšanas procesa uzlabošanai;
Sadarbības ar latviešu diasporas veicināšana, atbalstot tos ārzemēs dzīvojošos latviešus un viņu ģimenes locekļus, kuri apsver iespēju vai ir jau izlēmuši atgriezties un strādāt Latvijā;
Attīstīt sadarbību ar citu valstu sporta klubiem, skolām un starptautiskām organizācijām, lai veicinātu aktīvu dzīvesveidu bērniem un jauniešiem, piedāvājot dažādas sporta nodarbības un aktivitātes starpkultūru vidē;
Izstrādāt, apkopot un izplatīt sporta apmācību un treniņu metodiku.
