Operational objectives

Veicināt un palielināt Latvijas iedzīvotāju interesi par sportu un fiziskām aktivitātēm;
veidot iedzīvotāju sapratni par veselības saglabāšanu un nostiprināšanu;
palielināt Latvijas iedzīvotāju skaitu, kas nodarbojas ar sporta aktivitātēm;
nodrošināt iespējas bērniem un jauniešiem iesaistīties sporta aktivitātēs, veicinot veselīgu un kustīgu dzīvesveidu;
organizēt, rīkot sporta pasākumus - koptreniņus, sacensības;
organizēt izglītojošus pasākumus, tikšanās ar sportistiem un lekcijas, vērstas uz veselīga un kustīga dzīvesveida popularizēšanu sabiedrībā;
izveidot sadarbības sistēmu ar radniecīgām organizācijām, lai koordinētu un saskaņotu sporta attīstību Latvijā;
pārstāvēt sportistu intereses sporta organizācijās un apvienībās;
veicināt starptautisku sadarbību ar radniecīgām organizācijām Eiropā un pasaulē;
nodrošināt biedrības biedriem un citām personām iespēju piedalīties sacensībās Latvijā un ārvalstīs;
veicināt sporta dzīves attīstību reģionos, rīkojot sacensības un citus pasākumus sadarbībā ar pašvaldībām un citām organizācijām.
