Operational objectives

1. Apmācīt, sertificēt un citādi atbalstīt peldēšanas instruktorus, iedzīvotāju peldēt apmācībai nākotnē;
2. Apmācīt, sertificēt un citādi atbalstīt peldēšanas instruktorus, turpmākai Latvijas peldēšanas sporta organizāciju biedru apmācībai un trenēšanai;
3. Atbalstīt jaunu un esošu peldbaseinu projektēšanu, celtniecību, vadīšanu un uzturēšanu Latvijā, tai skaitā sniedzot finansiālu atbalstu tehniski ekonomiskā pamatojuma sagatavošanā, kā arī peldēšanas klubu izveidošanā pašvaldībās;
4. Sadarbojoties ar valsts institūcijām un pašvaldībām, rast finansiālus resursus, bet ne piedalīties peldbaseinu celtniecībā, uzturēšanā un pārvaldīšanā;
5. Izveidot kvalificētu organizāciju apmācības sertifikātu un peldēšanas diplomu administrēšanai un kontrolei;
6. Sagatavot informāciju vietējām kopienām par slēgto peldbaseinu izmantošanas lietderību un labvēlīgo ietekmi uz veselību. Papildus izveidot publiskus informācijas centrus praktiskas informācijas nodrošināšanai par peldbaseiniem, to celtniecības un uzturēšanas izmaksām, lietošanas iespējām, iekļaujot vispusīgu informāciju par peldēšanas apmācību;
7. Popularizēt peldēšanas labvēlīgo ietekmi uz veselību visā Latvijā tradicionālajos medijos (TV, radio, avīzēs un žurnālos), internetā (sociālajos tīklos, Mācies peldēt mājas lapā), kā arī tekoties klātienē;
8. Izveidot nelielu biroju iepriekš minēto aktivitāšu nodrošināšanai un koordinēšanai.
