| Operational objectives |
1.Veicināt velosipēdu izmantošanas popularitāti Latvijā;
2.Popopularizēt aktīvu dzīvesveidu jauniešu un pieaugušo vidū, tādejādi mazinot kaitīgo atkarību risku, bet rosinot interesi par sportu un izpratni par veselīgu dzīvesveidu; 3.Veicināt jauniešu un pieaugušo fizisko attīstību un izturību; 4.Radīt motivācijas spēju un attīstīt, pilnveidot personas talantu; 5.Popularizēt aktīvu atpūtu visai ģimenei, tādejādi stiprinot ģimeniskās saites un vērtības; 6.Nodrošināt šosejas un velokrosa treniņprocesus, uzlabot sporta tehniku, atbilstoši sportista meistarības līmenim; 7.Nodrošināt sportistu piedalīšanos sacensībās Latvijā un visā pasaulē; 8.Veicināt sportiskās meistarības izaugsmi, veidojot treniņnometnes Latvijā un ārzemēs. Sniegt visāda veida atbalstu sportistiem, mērķtiecīgi virzoties uz sasniegumiem Latvijā un starptautiskajā vidē; 9.Velosporta sacensību un citu ar velosportu saistītu pasākumu rīkošana; 10.Šosejas un velokrosa bāzes izveide un pilnveidošana (sacensību trase, tehniskās aprīkojuma darbnīca un tamlīdzīgi; 11.Palīdzēt ar rehabilitācijas nodrošināšanu bijušajiem sportistiem un cilvēkiem ar ierobežotām spējām; 12.Palīdzēt ar tehnisko nodrošinājumu (ekipējuma un tehnikas vienību iegāde) jauniem un perspektīviem sportistiem. |
