Operational objectives

attīstīt zinātniski pamatotu medību saimniecību;
iesaistīt savus biedrus medījamo dzīvnieku aizsardzībā, vairošanā un populāciju bagātināšanā;
organizēt likumīgu un noteikumiem atbilstošu medību veidu pielietošanu;
izkopt un pilnveidot medību tradīcijas un ētiku;
organizēt mednieku kvalifikācijas celšanu, īpaši jauno mednieku apmācību ar medniecību saistītiem jautājumiem;
sekmēt un attīstīt medību sporta veidus, organizēt biedrības izlases komandas sagatavošanu medību sporta veidos un to piedalīšanos sacensībās;
pārstāvēt mednieku intereses, aizstāvēt viņu likumīgās prasības, intereses iniciatīvu dažādās institūcijās, organizācijās un citur;
organizēt medību trofeju uzskaiti, popularizēšanu un aizsardzību;
palīdzēt valsts iestādēm apkarot nelikumīgo medniecību;
iesaistīt savus biedrus dabas jautājumu risināšanā;
piedalīties medību apsaimniekošanas plānu izstrādāšanā un īstenošanā;
realizēt uzraudzību par Medību likuma un citu ar medībām saistīto aktu ievērošanu savās platībās;
veicināt medību tūrisma attīstīšanu.
