| Operational objectives | Veicināt Latvijas slāvistu sadarbību slāvistikas dažādās jomās - valodniecībā, literatūrzinātnē, vēstures zinātnē, kulturoloģijā, etnogrāfijā u.c.; veicināt Latvijā tradicionālo slāvistikas aspektu pētīšanu, baltu un slāvu valodu un kultūru sakaru pētīšanu; veicināt efektīvu koordināciju starp pētījumiem slāvistikas jomā; Koordinēt jautājumus, kas ir saistīti ar slāvistikas disciplīnu mācīšanu un apguvi Latvijas augstskolās un mācību iestādēs, nodrošinot sadarbību, informācijas un pieredzes apmaiņu slāvistu vidū; uzturēt un attīstīt zinātniskos kontaktus un sakarus ar slāvistikas pētījumu centriem slāvu un neslāvu valstīs, piedalīties starptautiskajās pētniecības programmās un projektos; pārstāvēt Latvijas slāvistiku nacionālā un starptautiskā mērogā |
