| Operational objectives |
1. Apvienot akadēmiskās un zinātniskās kopienas pārstāvjus un nozares profesionāļus, kuru pētnieciskās un praktiskās intereses saistītas ar dabas ūdens ieguvi, piegādi un apstrādi, kā arī notekūdeņu savākšanu un apstrādi;
2. Veicināt zināšanu abpusēju pārnesi starp akadēmiskā, zinātniskā un profesionālā sektora strādājošiem biedriem; kā arī informācijas pārnesi sabiedrībā, tai skaitā - likumdošanas varai; 3. Veicināt akadēmiskā un profesionālā sektora strādājošo biedru kopīgu projektu izstrādi, kas noved pie rezultātu gūšanas (piemēram, ūdens drošums, enerģijas ietaupījums vai jauna veida ietaises) 4. Veicināt Baltijas valstu akadēmiskās kopienas pārstāvju sadarbību; 5. Piedalīties un atbalstīt pētniecības projektus; 6. Uzlabot un papildināt esošos būvnormatīvus un standartus ūdenssaimniecības sektorā; 7. Organizēt biedru, kā arī citu interesentu kopīgus seminārus un konferences pieredzes apmaiņai un jaunāko tendenču apspriešanai ūdenssaimniecības sektorā; 8. Veikt ekspertīzi un sniegt atzinumus savas kompetences robežās ūdens saimniecības sektorā strādājošiem komunālajiem uzņēmumiem un citiem interesentiem. |
