Tautas dejas, kā latviešu tradicionālās kultūras sastāvdaļas, apgūšana, saglabāšana un popularizēšana Kuldīgas novadā, Latvijā un pasaulē;
Kurzemes kultūrvēsturisko īpatnību saglabāšana tautas dejās, mūzikā un tērpos;
Starpnacionālo kultūras saišu veidošana ar tautas deju kopām Eiropā un pasaulē;
Piedalīšanās koncertos, koncertturnejās un labdarības pasākumos;
Dažādu kultūras pasākumu (koncertu, festivālu u.c.) organizēšana;
Atbalstīt deju kolektīvu radošo darbību, veidot jaunus iestudējumus un dejas;
Veicināt iedzīvotāju sabiedrisko aktivitāšu realizēšanu un brīvā laika lietderīgu izmantošanu;
Popularizēt savu darbību, izmantojot radio, televīziju, preses izdevumus.
