Operational objectives

1. Latvijas Latgales reģiona fotogrāfu radošās darbības stimulēšana, kā arī to interešu un tiesību aizstāvēšana;
2. Fotogrāfijas kā komunikācijas nozares attīstības veicināšana, tās vērtību apzināšana un saglabāšana gan informācijas, gan mākslas tēlu aspektā;
3. Sabiedrības izglītošana un informēšana fotogrāfijas jomā;
4. Profesionālo fotogrāfijas kritiku un fotogrāfijas estētikas teorijas attīstības veicināšana;
5. Piedalīšanās Latgales reģiona un Latvijas valsts kultūrpolitikas veidošanā, ar fotogrāfiju saistītu likumdošanas aktu, pašvaldību un valdības lēmumu sagatavošanā;
6. Fotogrāfu jaunradei labvēlīgu apstākļu veicināšana, pārstāvot fotogrāfus valsts institūcijās;
7. Veicināt izstāžu, semināru, lekciju, radošo darbnīcu u.c. pasākumu organizēšanas darbību Latgalē;
8. Organizēt fotogrāfu profesionālās kvalifikācijas izvērtējumu un veicināt sertifikāciju foto dizaina vai citās profesionālas darbības segmentu jomās;
9. Sadarboties kopīgo mērķu īstenošanai ar citām profesionālajām radošām organizācijām un citām institūcijām Latvijā un ārzemēs;
10. Visu Latvijas fotogrāfu sadarbības sekmēšana.
