| Operational objectives |
Latvijas un pasaules medicīnas vēstures izpētes projektu īstenošana;
Latvijas un pasaules medicīnas vēstures kultūras mantojuma apzināšana un saglabāšana; pētījumu un citu projektu veikšana sadarbībā ar Paula Stradiņa Medicīnas vēstures muzeju, Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes Medicīnas vēstures institūtu, Latvijas Medicīnas vēsturnieku asociāciju, citām Latvijas un starptautiskām organizācijām; līdzdarboties un atbalstīt medicīnas un izglītības projektus, kas atbilst sabiedrības garīgās un fiziskās veselības sekmēšanas mērķiem, cilvēka garīgo un fizisko spēju pilnveidošanas īstenošanai; projektu un pasākumu, kuru mērķi ir aizsargāt kultūras mantojuma, īstenošana, līdzdarbošanās, atbalstīšana, tautas medicīnas tradīciju pētīšana un attīstīšana un jaunu pētījumu sekmēšana; starptautiskās pieredzes apgūšanas projektu īstenošana, līdzdarbošanās, atbalstīšana; sabiedrības veselības un medicīnas vēstures informācijas un apmācības pieejamības sekmēšana arī lauku apvidos; līdzdarboties un atbalstīt projektus, kas veicina papildizglītības iespējas, organizējot konferences, seminārus, kursus, prezentācijas, izstādes u.c. izglītojošus un kultūras pasākumus; apmācības, informācijas izveides Rīgā un īpaši lauku novados projektu īstenošana, līdzdarbošanās, atbalstīšana; līdzekļu piesaistīšana Latvijas un pasaules medicīnas vēstures un sabiedrības veselības materiālā un nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma saglabāšanā un kopšanā; projektu izstrādāšana un iesniegšana projektu konkursos Latvijas un ārvalstu valsts un sabiedriskās institūcijās; sponsoru piesaistīšana un ziedojumu saņemšana; sadarbības partneru, mecenātu un to līdzekļu piesaistīšana projektu īstenošanā, starptautiskās pieredzes izpēte, apkopošana un izmantošana; Latvijas un Eiropas Savienības fondu līdzekļu piesaistes projektu izstrādāšana; medicīnas vēstures kultūras tradīciju un kultūrvēsturiskā mantojuma popularizēšana; pasākumu organizēšana; konsultāciju sniegšana, grāmatu, bukletu, citu populārzinātnisku iespieddarbu un informācijas izplatīšanas līdzekļu pagatavošana; izglītojošo un populārzinātnisko izstāžu, ekspozīciju izveide, cita veida pasākumu rīkošana; līdzekļu piesaistīšana Latvijas Nacionālā muzeja krājuma papildināšanai un saglabāšanai; starptautiskās sadarbības veicināšana; citu likumos un biedrības sapulču lēmumos paredzēto uzdevumu veikšana. |
