Operational objectives Veicināt amatniecību valstī, sekmēt augstu arodu profesionālo līmeņu sasniegšanu, aizstāvēt un pārstāvēt amatnieku intereses dažādās valsts un pašvaldību institūcijās, kā arī ārvalstīs.
Līdzarboties to likumdošanas aktu izstrādāšanā, kuri skar amatiecības intereses. Sadarboties ar ieinteresētajām personām un organizācijām savu programmu un koncepciju izstrādāšanā un realizācijā.
Aktīvi sadarboties ar LAK tās mērķu realizācijai. Piedalīties amtu apmācības un pārbaudes programmu izstrādē. Veikt amata mācekļu apmācību, uzraudzīt apmācības procesu, reģistrēt mācekļus. Veikt amata zeļļu pārbaudes. Organizēt amata meistaru un zeļļu diplomu izsniegšanu. Darboties Amatu padomē, Goda tiesā. Veicināt starptautisko amatnieku pieredzes apmaiņu.
Izveidot ekspertu komisiju strīdu novēršanai starp amatniekiem un viņu klientiem.
Sniegt palīdzību amatniecības uzņēmumu veidošanā.
Biedrības saimnieciskās darbības rezultātā gūtos ienākumus izlietot sava īpašuma uzturēšanai, amtnieku izglītošanai, biedrības ražotņu veidošanā un realizēšanā.
Organizēt Latgales novadu amatu vēstures izpētes un saglabāšanas programmu.
Sniegt amatniecības pakalpojumus. Rīkot izstādes, izsoles un veidot fondus, kopdarbības sabiedrības. Veikt izdevējdarbību.
