| Operational objectives |
Sniegt iespēju speciālistiem apgūt un īstenot tuberkulozes apkarošanas stratēģiju un taktiku atbilstoši Pasaules Veselības organizācijas un citu starptautisko organizāciju noteiktajām nostādnēm.
Sniegt nacionālām programmām, ārstniecības iestādēm un speciālistiem tehnisko atbalstu un konsultācijas tuberkulozes apkarošanā. Sadarbībā ar citām organizācijām un institūcijām organizēt un veikt zinātnisko pētījumus. Aktualizēt tuberkulozes apkarošanas nepieciešamību sabiedrībā un valsts pārvaldē, uzlabot sabiedrības zināšanas un izpratni par tuberkulozi, kā arī veicināt sabiedrības vienprātību un līdzdalību tuberkulozes apkarošanā, balstoties uz Pasaules Veselības organizācijas izstrādāto ACSM (Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization) stratēģiju. |
