Operational objectives Uz brīvprātības principiem apvienot biedrus - ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda klubus vai biedrības un komersantus, kuras ir ieinteresētas piedalīties ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda attīstības veicināšanā Latvijā.
Organizēt un radīt nepieciešamos apstākļus ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda attīstībai Latvijā.
Nodrošināt Federācijas biedru kopsapulču, valdes lēmumu izpildi un Federācijas statūtu ievērošanu.
Popularizēt ūdesslēpošanu un veikbordu, nodrošināt informāciju par šiem sporta veidiem Federācijas biedriem un sabiedrībai, risināt šo sporta veidu attīstības problēmas, kā arī izstrādāt juridiskos un administratīvos dokumentus, kas ir saistoši Federācijas biedriem un sacensību rīkotājiem Latvijas Republikā.
Sadarbojoties ar biedriem, katru gadu organizēt valsts mēroga, starptautiskas, kā arī cita veida ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda sacensības, tās maksimāli tuvinot Starptautiskās Ūdens Slēpošanas un Veikborda Federācijas (International Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation, turpmāk tekstā IWWF) prasībām, aptverot visas Latvijas iedzīvotāju grupas neatkarīgi no to sportiskās sagatavotības un vecuma.
Veicināt Latvijas ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda izlašu komandu un pārstāvju sekmīgu piedalīšanos Pasaules un Eiropas čempionātos, kā arī citās starptautiskajās sacensībās.
Izstrādāt un apstiprināt Latvijas ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda čempionāta sacensību nolikumus.
Izstrādāt un apstiprināt Latvijas ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda sacensību ikgadējo kalendāro plānu.
Izsniegt un noteikt maksas apmēru ūdens slēpotāja un veikbordista licencēm Federācijas biedru sportistiem.
Deleģēt Federācijas pārstāvjus (sportistus, trenerus, tiesnešus, u.c.) starptautiskām sacensībām, semināriem, mācībām, apspriedēm un kongresiem.
Apstiprināt Latvijas ūdens slēpotāju un veikbordistu rangu sarakstu.
Organizēt treneru un tiesnešu sagatavošanu, kvalifikācijas celšanu, pieredzes apmaiņu un stažēšanos.
Popularizēt ūdens slēpošanu un veikbordu Latvijā, rūpējas par ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda attīstību bērnu un jauniešu vidū, jauno sportistu apmācību, audzināšanu un atbalstīšanu.
Sadarbībā ar valsts un pašvaldību atbildīgajām institūcijām piedalīties likumu un noteikumu izstrādē un jautājumu risināšanā, kas saistīti ar ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda attīstību.
Nodrošināt informāciju par Federāciju un tās rīkotajiem pasākumiem Federācijas mājas lapā internetā.
Pārstāvēt Federāciju Latvijas Sporta federāciju padomē, Latvijas Olimpiskajā komitejā, Starptautiskajā ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda federācijā un citās organizācijās.
Pārstāvēt Federācijas biedrus starptautiskajās organizācijās, veicināt un pārraudzīt to starptautiskos sakarus.
Nodrošināt, lai Federācija, tās biedri un sportisti ievērotu Starptautiskās Olimpiskās Komitejas (International Olympic Commitee, turpmāk tekstā IOC), IWWF un antidopinga konvenciju prasības un norādījumus.
Ūdens slēpošanas un veikborda interesēs veikt citu darbību, kas nav aizliegta ar likumu un nav pretrunā ar šiem statūtiem.
