| Operational objectives |
Organizēt un radīt nepieciešamos apstākļus zemūdens sporta un zemūdens
darbības attīstībai Latvijā; nodrošināt zemūdens sporta un zemūdens darbības vienotību un aizsargāt tās materiālās un morālās intereses Latvijas Republikā; panākt individuālo un kolektīvo biedru vienotību jautājumos, kurus tai federācijas biedri ir uzticējuši; veicināt un popularizēt zemūdens sportu; organizēt zemūdens sporta pasākumus, radīt pilsoņiem iespējas nodarboties ar zemūdens sportu un cita veida zemūdens darbību, veicinot cilvēka vispusīgu un garīgu attīstību; nodrošināt Latvijas izlases komandu un pārstāvju sekmīgu piedalīšanos Pasaules un Eiropas čempionātos, kā arī citās starptautiskajās sacensībās; nodrošināt valsts čempionātu un citu sacensību rīkošanu; apstiprināt un izdot zemūdens sporta sacensību noteikumus un citus ar zemūdens sportu saistītus materiālus; veikt pasākumus treneru, tiesnešu, zemūdens instruktoru un zemūdens peldētāju sagatavošanā un kvalifikācijas celšanā; pārstāvēt Latvijas zemūdens sportu Latvijas Valsts sporta pārvaldē, Latvijas sporta federāciju padomē un citās organizācijās; pārstāvēt Latvijas Republikas intereses Starptautiskajās zemūdens sporta organizācijās, veicināt un pārraudzīt to starptautiskos sakarus; piešķirt zemūdens sporta kvalifikācijas pakāpes un kategorijas; iepazīstināt Federācijas biedrus ar jaunām tendencēm zemūdens sporta aprīkojuma izgatavošanā, kā arī palīdzēt Federācijas biedriem iegādāties vajadzīgo aprīkojumu; organizēt Zemūdens sporta kursus, seminārus un cita veida apmācību. |
