Operational objectives Nepārtraukti pilnveidot profesionālās un arodizglītības pakalpojumu sistēmu tautsaimniecības darbiniekiem un bezdarbniekiem, atbilstoši Republikas ekonomikas maināgajām vajadzībām, izmantojot jaunākās zinātniskās apmācības formas un metodes;
Aizstāvēt asociācijas biedru likumīgās intereses valsts pārvaldes, sabiedriskajās organizācijās un masu informācijas līdzekļos;
Sagatavot ierosinājumus likumdošanas projektiem:
par pieaugušo apmācības un pārkvalificēšanas sistēmas pilnveidošanu un attīstību atbilstoši tautsaimniecības vajadzībām;
lai ar nodokļu sistēmas palīdzību veicinātu uzņēmēju ieinteresētību darbinieku kvalifikācijas celšanā un līdz ar to sekmētu republikas tautsaimniecības izaugsmi;
sniegt konsultatīvu metodisku palīdzību uzņēmējiem darbinieku kvalifikācijas paaugstināšanā un pārkvalificēšanā;
organizēt zinātniski - praktiskās konferences pieaugušo apmācības jautājumos;
pieaugušo un bezdarbnieku izglītošana un pārkvalificēšana tautsaimniecības vajadzībām nepieciešamajās specialitātēs pēc darba devēja, ieinteresēto iestāžu, organizāciju pasūtījuma;
veicināt netradicionālu apmācības formu ieviešanu, sevišķu vērtību veltot pieaugušo apmācības pedagoģiskajām problēmu;
noslēgt līgumus ar personām, kuām ir attiecīgas izdevēja tiesības, organizēt mācību procesā nepieciešamās mtodiskās literatūras izdošanu;
organizēt socioloģiskus pētījumus un aptaujas, lai noskaidrotu dažādu sfēru uzņēmēju pieprasījumu;
organizēt pieredzes apmaiņu ar citu valstu pieaugušo izglītības mācību centriem;
veikt nepieciešamos izglītības sistēmas reklāmas un popularizācijas pasākumus, nodibināt sakarus ar masu informācijas līdzekļiem;
brīvi izplatīt informāciju par savu darbību;
izdot savu preses izdevumu;
slēgt savstarpējus līgumus ar darba devējiem - ieinteresētām personām, iestādēm, organizācijām par nepieciešamo speciālistu sagatavošanu, kvalifikācijas paaugstināšanu, bezdarbnieku pārkvalificēšanu;
pēc sekmīga mācību kursa beigšanas, klausītājiem izsniegt biedrības apliecību;
licencē savu biedru izstrādātās mācību programmas ar tiesībām izmantot tās biedrības pieaugušo apmācībai un pārkvalificēšanai.
