| Operational objectives |
Apvienot ārstus, kuru profesionālā intrese ir saistīta ar bērnu infekcijas slimibām, lai uz kopēju intrešu pamata veiktu sabiedriskā labuma darbību- rūpētos par bērnu infektologu izglītību, profesionālo izaugsmi, vērtīgākās pieredzes apgūšanu, radošo spēju izkopošanu un kompetentas informācijas sniegšanu sabiedrībai par bērnu infekciju slimībām, tādejādi veicinot kvalitatīvas specializētas aprūpes pieejamību Latvijas bērniem un lipīgo slimību profilaksi;
veicināt jaunu speciālistu sagatavošanu bērnu infekcijas slimībās atbilstoši starptautiskajām prasībām, kas dotu tiesības Latvijā izglītību ieguvušiem bērnu infektologiem bez ierobežojumiem brīvi pārvietoties un strādāt savā profesijā Eiropas Kopienas valstīs, kā arī konkurēt ar ārvalstu kolēģiem Latvijas darba tirgū; veikt sertifikāciju bērnu infekcijas slimībās. |
