Operational objectives - apvienot un koordinēt dziednieku darbību, tradicionālās tautas medicīnas speciālistus un jaukto profesiju speciālistus ar mērķi pilnībā izmantot viņu spējas, pieredzi un zināšanas cilvēku labā;
- organizēt apmācības dziedniecības praksē, paaugstināt dziednieku kvalifikāciju skolās, kursos, semināros, nodrošināt apmaiņas pieredzi un citas profesionālo īpašību pilnveidošanas formas;
- propagandēt veselīgu dzīves veidu, pašatveseļošanas metodes, efektīvu senus un mūsdienu dziedniecības veidus;
- uzturēt sakarus ar Latvijas un ārzemju dziednieku organizācijām, kopīgi ar tām piedalīties pasākumos, apmaiņas pieredzē un kopīgā darbā;
- veicināt profesionālu dziednieku- LTDzA biedru juridisku un sociālu aizsardzību, sabiedrisko, kultūras, sporta un citu pasākumu organizēšanu dziedniekiem;
- veicināt pirmrindas pieredzes un zinātnes sasniegumu izplatīšanu atveseļošanas praksē.
