Operational objectives Sadarboties ar valsts Ugunsdrošības dienestu, veicināt ugunsdrošību ražošanas un sabiedriskajos objektos, dzīvojamā sektorā, kas atrodas Salas novada teritorijā;
Sadarbojoties ar rajona Brīvprātīgo ugunsdzēsēju biedrību, veikt pasākumus ugunsdrošības stāvokļa uzlabošanai Salas novadā;
Ar biedrības rīcībā esošajiem spēkiem un līdzekļiem veikt profilaktiskos un organizatoriskos ugunsgrēku novēršanas pasākumus;
Izplatīt un paskaidrot ugunsdrošības noteikumus biedrības biedru, komercsabiedrību, uzņēmumu un iestāžu strādājošo, bērnu, skolēnu un iedzīvotāju vidū;
Organizēt jauno ugunsdzēsēju vienības un apgūt tajās ugunsdzēsības pamatus;
Rīkot skates, konkursus, apskates apkalpojamā teritorijā- komercsabiedrībās, uzņēmumos, organizācijās un dzīvojamā sektorā;
Organizēt ugunsdzēsības lietišķā sporta treniņus, sacensības, kultūras pasākumus. Aktīvi piedalīties rajona un republikas rīkotajos ugunsdrošības pasākumos;
Nodrošināt biedrību, komandas ar nepieciešamo inventāru un materiāliem nolūkā sekmēt ugunsdrošības stāvokļa uzlabošanu Salas novada teritorijā esošajās organizācijās, uzņēmumos, saimniecībās un dzīvojamā sektorā.
